Patrick Bourke, Group Chief Executive
Appointed as Group Chief Executive in April 2007. Joined as Group Finance Director in September 2000. Previously Head of Mergers and Acquisitions and then Group Treasurer at Powergen plc. He was formerly a director of Barclays de Zoete Wedd and qualified as a chartered accountant with Peat Marwick (now KPMG).

Harry McCracken, Managing Director Northern Ireland Electricity
Appointed Managing Director NIE in June 2009. Previously Group Managing Director Viridian Power and Energy. Joined NIE in 1970 as an engineer and progressed to Corporate Planning Manager prior to appointment to the Board of NIE as Operations Director in 1992.

Peter Ewing, Group Finance Director
Appointed Group Finance Director in May 2007. Joined as Finance Director of NIE in 1998 and appointed General Manager Group Finance of Viridian in 2003. Formerly Finance Director of Moy Park Limited and Associate Director of IBI Corporate Finance. He qualified as a chartered accountant with Arthur Andersen & Co.

Ian Thom, Company Secretary and General Counsel
Appointed as Group Company Secretary and General Counsel in September 2001, assumed executive responsibility for NIE Energy's supply and power procurement businesses in September 2007. He has been a member of the Executive Committee since 2003. Previously European Legal Director for OSI International Foods. He is a barrister by profession.
