Senior management changes at Viridian

Viridian Group announces the following senior management changes.

·        Harry McCracken becomes Managing Director, Northern Ireland Electricity (NIE) plc and joins the Board of NIE.  Harry has extensive experience within Viridian and was most recently Group Managing Director, Viridian Power & Energy.

·        Tom Gillen becomes Chief Operating Officer, Viridian Power & Energy, the Group’s integrated generation (Huntstown and Eco Wind Power) and supply (Energia) business. Tom joined Viridian in 2000 and became Managing Director, Energia in June last year. 

Patrick Bourke, Viridian Group Chief Executive, said ”I am pleased that we are able to make these appointments from within the Group.  They demonstrate the strength and depth we have within our existing team.”

Both appointments became effective this week.
